Amington Hall's assistants were spending 1+ hour creating custom wedding quotes — mostly for leads who never converted. We built a one-click quote generation system: enter a Pipedrive customer ID, and a fully formatted, pricing-calculated Google Sheets quote is ready in under 60 seconds.

The Problem

Assistants were spending most of their day building quotes for leads who would never book.

Wedding venues work with high consideration cycles. Couples shop around, request quotes from multiple venues, compare options, and often take weeks to decide — or never book at all. The conversion rate from inquiry to booking is inherently low.

At Amington Hall, every inquiry triggered a full manual quote process. An assistant would open Pipedrive, review the lead's information, open the Google Sheets quote template, manually fill in the client's name, event date, guest count, package selections, add-ons, and catering preferences, calculate pricing, format the document, download it as a PDF, and email it.

That process took 1+ hour per quote. With 10–20 inquiries per week, the math was brutal: 10–20 hours of admin per week, most of it for leads who would never convert.

  • 1+ hour per custom quote — mostly for non-converting leads
  • 10–20 inquiries/week = up to 20 hours of quote work weekly
  • Assistants had no time for qualified lead follow-up or event coordination
  • Slow quote turnaround (sometimes days) hurt first impressions vs. faster venues
  • Inconsistent quote quality depending on which assistant built it

What We Built

A one-click quote generation system that pulls data from Pipedrive, calculates pricing, and produces a formatted quote in under 60 seconds.

01

Assistant triggers the workflow

The assistant opens the custom Google Sheets quote template. A button appears: "Generate Quote". They click it and a simple form pops up asking for one thing: the customer's Pipedrive ID.

02

Apps Script fires a webhook

The Google Apps Script sends the customer ID to a Make.com webhook, which triggers the automation workflow.

03

Make.com fetches the full lead profile

Make.com calls the Pipedrive API and retrieves all data associated with that customer: name, email, phone, event date, guest count, package selection, catering preferences, add-ons, and any notes from previous interactions.

04

Quote auto-populated and priced

The automation creates a new Google Sheet from the master template, fills in all the customer data automatically, and runs the pricing logic — calculating totals based on guest count, package tier, selected add-ons, and seasonal pricing rules. The document is formatted professionally with Amington Hall's branding.

05

Assistant reviews and sends

The assistant receives a notification that the quote is ready. They open it, do a 2–3 minute review, download as PDF, and send to the lead. Total time: under 5 minutes — down from 1+ hour.
