Privacy Policy for Are they grabbing my IP?

1. Scope
This policy applies only to the Are they grabbing my IP? browser extension. It explains how the extension handles information while it detects recognised visitor-identification and IP-enrichment services and applies its blocking settings.
2. Information the extension does not collect or send
Detection and blocking happen locally in your browser. The extension does not send the following to Systemify Automation or any other server:
- Browsing history
- IP addresses
- Page content
- Detection results or matched services
- Analytics, advertising, or usage telemetry
The extension does not use remote code or third-party services.
3. Information stored in your browser
The extension stores only the settings needed to honour your choices:
- Your preference for whether request blocking is enabled.
- The websites you choose to allow while keeping blocking enabled elsewhere.
These settings remain in place until you change them.
4. How detection and blocking work
When you view a website, the extension checks browser-side resources—such as scripts, frames, images, links, and network requests—for signatures associated with recognised services. This processing takes place in your browser. A match can show the service name, match confidence, and the browser-side evidence that triggered the result.
When blocking is enabled, a focused list of known IP lookup and IP-enrichment requests is prevented from being sent. You can disable blocking for all websites or allow an individual website through the extension popup.
5. Sharing and disclosure
Because the extension does not transmit browsing data or detection results to us, it does not share that information with advertisers, analytics providers, or other third parties.

We may update this policy when the extension’s data practices change. The latest version will be published on this page with an updated date.
